Yesterday was first day of classes, and they went well! I can really see this semester as being the toughest one yet, but what's life without challenges, right?

So this weekend will be all about green tea, reading books (for classes!), and going to church. Not that bad!

What do you guys think of this t-shirt/top?

When I saw it on Stylemint's site, I really, really wanted it. When I got it, it was way too oversized so I exchanged it for a smaller size.

Now, I'm not sure. I was going to return it, but then I saw a couple of videos yesterday of girls reviewing this tee, and they looked really good in it!

It's a flattering silhouette, but I don't think it looks that good on me.

What do you guys think? I need advice!

Look of the Day: White Versatility

In case you were wondering, I cleaned the mirrors after I took this photos. I never knew they were so... spotty!

I think all of my resolutions for 2012 are going well, except for blogging more. (Clearly)

And the fact that I am taking harder classes next semester doesn't help in my commitment for blogging either.

Relating to my outfit, I love, love, love white shirts.

You can wear them with jeans, work pants, mini skirt, maxi skirt, unbuttoned over a body con dress, etc.

Anything! I love its versatility. Now I just have to save up some money for a couple of Equipment shirts. (Yeah, right.)

Inspire - TwentyTwelve

2012 Resolutions

Lose weight until I become a size 6.
Get a good GMAT score.
Get a boyfriend.
Inspire more.
Blog more.

Clearly, these are in no particular order, because I just liked the way it looked (upside down pyramid?). I have never been a fan of resolutions. I don't think changes should kick in once a year, because everyday is a new day and a new opportunity to become someone you have always wanted to, right? That being said, I'm giving them a try. The fact that 2011 was such a great year for me gives me motivation that things will really be great in TwentyTwelve.

So why I picked these five points in particular? First off, cliché! But, because:

Lose weight: I feel uncomfortable with not feeling fit! I always push working out to the back of my priority list, because school is more important to me. But, last semester, I realized not working out makes me feel sluggish, and it affects my mental well being too. So I guess my resolution should be "Become fit," not losing weight. Losing weight sounds like I hate the way I look. (Which, okay, maybe I do. Not hate, but dislike.)

Get a good GMAT score: pretty explanatory.

Get a boyfriend: I know, I know, this is destiny and is up to God. My resolution is to just be more open to relationships and not cut off all opportunities for guys to ask me out. So technically, finding a boyfriend would just (hopefully) be the positive outcome of my resolution.(;

Inspire more: Both mentally and physically. Mentally - I want to be that Christian girl you see and instantly have a pleasant feeling. I want to be that Christian girl who people will come to to seek for comfort, help, and advice whenever they need it. I want to inspire people to love and care. And physically - I wouldn't mind having more followers on my blog.(; I want to inspire people to love themselves the way they are with what they have and to express themselves through what they wear, especially because I'm kind of on my quest to finding my personal style too! You should define clothes through your style, and not the other way around - allowing the luxurious, expensive clothes to define you.

Blog more: I really need to. I know blogging motivates me to wear nicer things on a daily basis, and I have realized how much wearing something "right" affects my mood that day. I think styling and wearing what you want is a creative outlet that says a lot about you, and I've realized that your style is your style. Only. Even if you have inspiration from other famous people, stylists, or bloggers, there will no one be like you. Couple of bloggers have said that one of the most important things about running a blog is to be you, because only you can be the best at being you. You will never be able to be as good as another person, because that person is that person.

2-5. Fresh picked apples and pears from my backyard in NY Hungary.
6-7. Bologna egg roll. It was way too heavy for a breakfast.:S
8-9. Fruit tiramisu and kinder chocolate ice cream from a bakery/creamery in Budapest that I go to way too often. I seriously love that place, and the owner literally saw me grow up.

In this world of collaboration after collaboration, no collaboration seems to be surprising.

Until Jimmy Choo collaborated with UGG.

I have all the respect for UGG, I'm not a hater like a lot of people out there are.

They're not beautiful, but they are comfortable. And comfortable is something I think of everyday when I get dressed.

I would actually get the middle pair of UGG shown here, I think they're pretty funky and Minnetonka-esque.

Yeah, I would buy them if they weren't retailing for $695. With that, I'd rather get a pair of Jimmy Choo heels!

I've been searching for this kind of scarf for a long time, and I happened to bump into them yesterday at H&M while being in the city!

I feel like I've come a long way since last year, when I first started my blog.

When I look at other blogs out there, I know that mine is a lot crappier.

Yet I keep going, hoping that eventually my style will refine itself, and that I'd have the resources to makes this blog a better read.

I don't know how others do it out there, but it really always comes down to one thing - money.

If only I had the money to buy what I wanted etc etc etc.

But that's not what life is about.

Life is about using what you have, not thinking about what you want to have.

So that's why I keep going, hoping that eventually, it'll be something good.

H&M has such an impact on my life - maybe even more than Arizona ice tea. Gasp!

I didn't end up wearing this, because the tights had massive holes that I didn't know will show when I sit.

Okay, sorry for being the worst blogger ever. I landed in New York on Saturday, and took my sweet time getting used to this new environment without updating my blog. Oh dear. But I really didn't have any inspirational outfits, because I only brought one luggage(!) here with me, and half of it was things for my sister. But my other stuff are arriving the day after tomorrow, if all goes well, with my parents, so I am excited to dress to impress again! However, I don't live in a perfect neighborhood, so I don't know if I should dress in heels and such to school, especially now that I walk home? Dilemma! (haha, this word totally stuck with me after Kiiyha kept using it when I hung with her)

This was from a couple of days ago, when the weather did not go crazy yet. The ice cream is from a local creamery just across my house, and boy, it's been there longer than I was even born. Their ice cream represents Hungary in countless worldwide competitions, and really, it's so delicious, you'd never want to stop eating it. I wish I can take photos in the creamery, but unfortunately, I am not allowed to!

We had a very fun time strolling through the city of Budapest, sipping delicious Starbucks frapuccinos, meeting a very nice man from LA with a photographer friend who has shot a photoshoot for Vogue, and walking into stores that we will probably never be able to afford. Filled with laughters, today has been a special day. Amazing how simply one blog connected us. If it wasn't for her and my blog, I would probably never get to know her. What I will be reading on my 20 hour train ride to Shanghai this afternoon. Originally, I thought the ride will be 25 hours, but turns out, it's 20. Good for me! Wondering why I'm taking the train and not the plane? the plane costs 5x more. I have plenty of time, so 20 hours is not bad. Plus, half of that will be night time, so I'm just going to sleep.

I found it interesting that these magazines have a Hong Kong edition. Technically, Hong Kong is China, but this shows how much they're actually not.

As you can see, I love nail polish. A lot. The Chanel and Essie nail polishes were given to me for my 15th birthday and Christmas. Additional to the Chanel and Essie nail polishes, the H&M ones are of the best quality, they don't chip until a few days after I apply them, and they only take one layer of polish. Love it! And I have 3 more shades I want to get them in, so I will as soon! (:

This is probably my new favorite nail polish. H&M makes such nice cosmetics, for like a quarter of the price of other brands. How nice? As you can see, in the last photo, my nails chip and break very easily. Do you have any tips for that? I heard that Vitamin C should help, but I want to make sure before I go into anything...

My new favorite book. I saw this at the bookstore the other day, and I knew I had to buy it no matter how much it costs. And yes, I bought it. Now I can't put it down, because I love it! It simply talks about the many jobs in the fashion industry, along with many interviews with "big people", such as Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour.

Which clogs?

The clogs that Annemiek wore in the fourth picture is what I have (last picture). I love them, but the quality isn't so good. I wore it for the first time this morning, and the cloth on the sole already detached itself. And I haven't even worn it, I was just about to!

In the first three pictures, Aimee and Chiara are wearing clog sandals, and I was wondering if I should exchange my clogs for those? Or should I, instead, just keep mine?

Well well, guess what day today marks? My last day of high school. Forever.

And what better way is there to end my last day in high school than to go shopping? Exactly, nothing can beat that. Oh actually, I know what can. Finding the perfect pair of clogs for a lifetime and finding the perfect tee for the summer. The tee was only 1290 huf, which would be 4.95 euros. Totally felt like stealing, trust me.

I wore my floral dress, and thought that the garden at my house would be the best background to take some pictures at, because what's better than florals in flowers, right? I love these types of dresses, these "to-go" ones - you put them on with leggings or tights, slip on flats and you're ready to go. Perfect for weekday mornings when you're just like, "I don't want to wake up!"

I'm in the library right now, and the pictures were taken right outside the library when I was waiting for it to open. I love the weather today - finally beautiful after days of gloomy skies! And the wind was really pleasant, as you can see in the photos.

I'm going to visit an elderly home for community service with some of my classmates, which should be fun. I went last year, and I loved it. How are you spending your weekend? How is the weather?

Promod blazer, dress from Italy, H&M tights, flats, and necklaces

So I went to church and was at a wedding today. The wedding was small, but it was really really nice. The couple loved each other SO much, and you could just see the way they looked at each other and how touched they were during the entire ceremony. The bride looked beautiful, and her dress was really pretty. The best part about it is that they are both in the family of Christ, knowing that it is with Christ that their marriage will be successful, everlasting, and fruitful. They know that humans need relationships, and that's why God gave Eve to Adam, but they also know that relationships are not to be abused. It was such a nice ceremony, to see two believers united under God.

P.S. I was SO lucky to come back from Stockholm on Thursday. Like, really. Bunch of my other friends are stuck in places such as Scotland, Seychelles, Egypt and so on, and school's starting tomorrow!

Spending my day in the library makes me feel so productive, really. I really don't like making the trip there though, because it takes about 2 hours for a round trip, but it's worth it.
